What a week it has been! There is no doubt that the Premier's announcement on Sunday has led to a mix of emotions amongst anyone and everyone. Regardless of how you are feeling following the announcement, we are all here for each other and in this together. We will get to the other side, the TA family always does.

Every day is R U OK? day if you ask me but with the official R U OK? day falling this week, it's the perfect time to check in with each other. We have been saying this all along but please take the time to check in with those who are important to you, and if you can, reach out if you need some support or someone to connect to.

This week happens to be build week two and the last week of our strength and endurance program before we recover and commence our pre-race phase. Make the most of it, every moment counts.

Speaking of racing...we are very excited this week to finally bring you dates and details for our very own Tri-Alliance Race Series and Training Camp! Read on below for more info and to express your interest. There are even prizes from Tri-Alliance and our amazing partners to be won so you do not want to miss out!

This week, test your culinary skills once again with another recipe, share your best pics to enter Giant Ormond's #6weekstrong competition and be transported to Italy in our latest Meet the TA Family.

Keep enjoying the warmer weather and extra daylight during your one hour (this week) of outdoor exercise time and make the most of it from your backyard, balcony or window the rest of the day! Be kind to yourself and to others, we're nearly through this so let's get to the other side together.

As always, and as above, don't forget to check in with others to make sure they are okay or just to let them know they are missed! If you can, please reach out if you need some support or someone to connect to during this time. Supporting each other no matter what is the TA way, and the Tri-Alliance family is all stronger for it.

#SWIMBIKERUNRACE

We are VERY excited to FINALLY announce the details of our upcoming and very own Tri-Alliance Race Series and Training Camp!

The first race of the series will kick off on Sunday 27 September, just as we say good riddance to our Stage 4 restrictions. There will be one race each week through until our training camp which will be held on what would have been Noosa weekend, the 30th October - 3rd November. Following our training camp, we will have another race series in the lead up to Hell Week.

The first six-week race series will be an opportunity to rediscover that motivation and inspiration you have been missing, and won't just be about racing. Along the way, we will have recipe sharing and other perks for those involved with the opportunity to focus on a healthy way of losing COVID-kilos if you happened to pick any up this year.

Both the race series and training camp will be open to all Tri-Alliance annual members and with prize packs from Tri-Alliance and our very special partners, you won't want to miss out! There will be a number of different race categories and age groups, so everyone can be involved (not just those with power meters or smart trainers!) and prizes will not just go to the fastest or strongest racers - there will be something for everyone!

More details to come but if you are interested please complete the expression of interest below to ensure you are kept up to date with planning.

How well do you know Orlando? If you have been frequenting our virtual sessions this year, there's no doubt you will have met him but just how well do you know him!? And if you're missing the ability to travel right now, let Orlando transport you to the balmy beaches of coastal Italy...grab a coffee, slice of pizza or gelato and get to know the friendly Italian.
