HAPPY NEW YEAR!

hell-week-2022

We hope you have all had a great start to 2023 and are excited about the year ahead.  A new year brings so many opportunities, a chance to plan or reset and provides a time to think about where you would like your health and fitness journey to go.

Now might also be a good time to for you to sit down with a coach, who can provide you with professional consult.  If you are interested, see here for more details:
https://trishop.com.au/product/coaching-consultation/

As our attention turns to 2023, we are on the lookout for new ambassadors.  We'd like to open this process up to the squad (nominating and final voting), as we have confidence that you know best!  Help us by getting nominations in ASAP, and we'll get to final voting from next week.

Quick recap: Well done to everyone who took part in the 2022 Hell Week challenge.  Whether it was for 7 days or less, to Mordi or Black Rock, for a run or walk - whatever challenge you set for yourself, we hope you achieved it.  There's definite skill required in backing up day after day (and a little bit of insanity), so you should all be reaping the rewards of this training spike in the days and weeks to come.  A little shoutout to those who turned up to Elwood for the full 7 days and kept me company - Fab, Mon, Rob & Ben!  And thank you to everyone who contributed to the final day BBQ.  It was the perfect celebration for all our hard work.  As were the margaritas we took away for that night, which were amazing (thanks Rob!).

And take a look below at the training schedule for the rest of this week.  We will be back to a normal timetable from Monday 9th January.

Quick one this week as we get back into things.  See you all at a session very soon :)

2023 AMBASSADORS

The TA Way
The TA Way

Do you love Triathlon as much as we do?

We're on the hunt for new ambassadors for the upcoming year ahead, and we're putting it to the squad to have the final say, via a confidential vote.

We're looking for individuals who'd like to share their experience and provide support and encouragement to their fellow teammates.

To be an ambassador for Tri-Alliance, you don’t have to be the best athlete with the best results, you just have to be dedicated, consistent and openly support the TA Way.

We believe ‘triathlon is not just a sport, it’s a lifestyle‘.  We are a community of people who come together to achieve a common goal.  We are a team that supports, nurtures, educates and provides direction for all triathletes. We encourage you to train and live with a positive, healthy and balanced outlook.

Tri-Alliance Ambassadors will display characteristics such as positive and motivational attitude, consistently train and attend Tri-Alliance coached sessions, encourage and support fellow athletes and have a genuine and strong passion for Tri-Alliance and the sport of Triathlon.

In return, Tri-Alliance in conjunction with our partners, will support YOU and your training.

Nominations are now open
We are calling for nominations for the 2023 season.  If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please use the link below ASAP.  These are confidential, and all nominees will be notified prior to voting, to confirm acceptance.  Nominations will be open from now until next Monday (9th January).

Voting will take place next week.
