🎉 Noosa Multisport Festival Wrap-UpWhat a weekend up north! The 2025 Noosa Multisport Festival once again delivered its trademark mix of chaos, crowds and triathlon magic. Sunshine, sea breeze, and a field packed with over 8,000 athletes made for another world-class event. A handful of Tri-Alliance athletes made the trip to test their early-season form and we couldn’t be prouder. Whether you were chasing a PB, soaking up the festival vibe, or ticking off another bucket-list race, well done to everyone who showed up and finished strong (or simply showed up and gave it a crack). Here are some of the results from our crew: - Zeebella Dixon – Kids Tri (next generation in motion!)
- Chris DIXON (#1564) – 02:17:07
- Paul BURNS (#7184) – 02:36:14
- Paul MARTIN (#6293) – 02:44:50
- Andrew MCPHERSON (#1931) – 02:51:51
- Ian CARTER (#6725) – 02:54:39
- Geoff SMALL (#6989) – 02:59:14
- Georgia MACKAY (#3474) – 03:07:41
- Ian JEFFREY (#7234) – 03:13:50
- Georgia SMALL (#3472) – 03:16:53
- Hendrik ZIMMET (#765) – 03:28:08
- Amelia KNAPMAN (#4171) – 03:42:56
- Rafael NASCIMENTO (#6303) – 04:07:23
- Sonia GREGUOL (#1534) – 04:53:08
- Neda JAMSHIDI (#4047) – DNF (sometimes the grip fights back and you still learn)
Massive effort from each of you. Travel, training, early mornings and warm weather combine to make these festivals memorable. Kicking off the season in Noosa like this sets a great tone for what’s ahead. 🛠️ Build Week #1: Let's Set the ToneWe’re officially into Build Week #1. If the Noosa weekend was about showing up and finishing, this week is about setting the tone for the blocks ahead. If you nailed your previous block, your body’s primed and ready to go. If you didn’t… well, this is your reminder that triathlon rewards consistency, not catch-up.
💡 With Monday (Cup Eve) and Tuesday (Cup Day) as public holidays, there are no coached sessions either day. That’s built into the plan. Back in action Wednesday morning with the swim session and full program. Use the time wisely and get ready to roll. And speaking of races closer to home…
🏊♂️ Ironman 70.3 Melbourne – Next Up!
Next weekend, we turn our attention to Ironman 70.3 Melbourne. It’s practically our home race... right in our training backyard along Beach Road and St Kilda/Elwood. To all our athletes racing: you’ve put in the work, now it’s time to enjoy it. Race hard, race smart, and soak up that finish line feeling. We’ll be out there cheering! 📣 Note for everyone else: due to event infrastructure and road closures, Sunday’s coached session at Elwood will be cancelled.
Plan ahead, train elsewhere, and come down to support the crew in action.
