What a way to wrap up 2024, team! Hell Week once again lived up to its legendary status, with athletes stepping up to tackle some, or even all, of this week-long challenge. Whether you powered through the full schedule or joined in for a few sessions, we’re so proud of everyone who showed up, gave it their all, and pushed their limits. Hell Week isn’t just about the training; it’s about resilience, camaraderie, and finishing the year on a high. Well done to all our Hell Week heroes! Now, after such a big spike, it’s time to embrace Recovery Week. This is where the real magic happens - letting your body adapt and rebuild from the work you’ve put in. Keep moving, but at a gentle pace, and give those muscles the rest they deserve. A reminder: there are no coached sessions this week, and MSAC is on holiday hours, so plan ahead if you’re heading to the pool (daytime only!). Your programs are still available and tailored to help you recover while staying consistent, so stick to what’s prescribed and ease into the new year with purpose.
For those keen to flush out the cobwebs a little earlier, we’re offering an optional start back on Saturday 4th January: - Short Course athletes: Meet at Elwood at 7am for a combo effort session.
- Long Course athletes: Roll out for a long ride from Elwood at 6:30am.
Our full timetable will resume on Monday, 6th January, so be sure to check out the schedule and lock in your sessions. We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas surrounded by family, friends, and good food. As we close out the year, we want to wish you all a Happy New Year! Here’s to a 2025 full of growth, fun, and plenty of achievements both on and off the course. We can’t wait to see everyone back at training soon. Let’s hit the ground running—refreshed, recharged, and ready to make this season one to remember. See you in 2025, team! 💙💛
