Can anyone else feel the energy in the air, as race season is almost upon us?!? Noosa, Challenge Shepparton, Ironman WA, 2XU Series...it's all coming and will be here before we know it! So keep consistent, now is a really important time to be hitting sessions, recovering well and taking on advice from coaches. Talk, listen, follow...it's that simple! Massive shout out to Monty and Chloe who were chosen as part of the team to represent Australia at the 2018 INAS World Half Marathon Championships in Coimbra, Portugal over the weekend. They both did a phenomenal job and we're super happy for them. If you see Chloe around, you may want to refer to her as World Champ!!! Read all the details in the Weekend Round Up. Sessions this week have taken a slight change, with the Australian Short Course Swimming Championships being held at MSAC. So Wednesday and Friday morning sessions have been relocated to Elwood Beach. Great opportunity to get in some extra open water swimming practice! Bring fins, paddles and of course wetties. Strength and endurance sets are on the menu, with race-specific work being completed Thursday night and Saturday morning. On swim sessions, get out your diaries to note that Monday 5th November will be cancelled. Majority of coaches are up in Noosa (racing and supporting) and many others are out of town for a long weekend. Tuesday wt will also not run as it is a public holiday. Back to normal after that!
