Team, what a cracking start to the year it’s been! The effort and energy you’ve all brought to each session over the past few weeks have been unreal. Every swim, bike, and run is laying down the foundation for a strong season ahead - and it’s showing! This week’s newsletter is a little shorter than usual as Ollie and I are away for a very special occasion - Ollie’s brother’s wedding. It’s a special time for our family, and we’re grateful to be able to celebrate it together. While we’re away, please know that we’re still here for you, even if our replies are a little slower than usual. All sessions will run as scheduled, and our amazing coaching team will be there to keep everything running smoothly. It’s also Recovery Week, which is the perfect chance for all of us to take a step back, recharge, and focus on restoring our bodies. Recovery is where growth happens, so embrace the lighter sessions and allow yourself to reset. Looking ahead, Race #4 at Sandringham is just 19 days away, on 9th February. It may feel like it’s coming up quickly, but there’s plenty of time to put in the work and get race-ready. Every session between now and then is an opportunity to fine-tune your preparation and build your confidence. If you’re not sure whether your program is on point for your goals, now’s the time to check in with your coach. A tailored plan makes all the difference, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ensure you’re on the right track. And remember, you get out what you put in.
