Happy Monday TA-ers!

I hope you've recovered nicely with a relaxing Recovery Week. If you've been soaking in hot showers, contemplating the mysteries of foam rollers, and managing your best penguin waddle, you're doing it right! But enough of the R&R; it's time to get back into gear because Build Week 1 is here, and we've got some updates to keep you motivated and informed.

You may have noticed an email in your inbox last week, asking for just five minutes of your time to complete our 2023 Member Survey. Your feedback is like gold to us – it helps us refine and grow our services, ensuring they cater to your triathlon journey. So, if you haven't already, please take a moment to click the link below and share your thoughts. We genuinely appreciate your input!

Sunday Runday was a blast for many as the Melbourne Marathon Festival hit the local streets. A massive shoutout to all the runners who conquered the event. Whether you smashed your personal record or simply soaked in the atmosphere, you deserve a round of applause!

Time Waits for No One.  Race day is sneaking up on us faster than you think. We know, it felt like a speck on the horizon when you signed up, but reality check: it's almost here! So, let's get those gears turning and stay on top of your game. Get your dose of reality below.

We've been proudly partnering with the Elwood Life Saving Club for ages, and we wholeheartedly believe in their incredible work. So, why not become a part of this fantastic community by signing up for the 2023/24 season? You'll not only support a great cause but also enjoy hot showers on training days and the sweet relief of a foreshore parking pass (Goodbye, parking fees and fines!).

Bikes for sale!  We've received word of a couple of real gems up for grabs: a TCR and an Ordu. Check out all the juicy details below. If you're in the market for a high-quality ride, you won't want to miss these.

Our first Try the Tri program is launching this weekend, and it's all about honing those bike skills. Head TTT Coach, Les, will be the guiding star. If you're around and can lend a helping hand, we'd love to have you on board. Let's make it a fantastic start for all our newbies!

That's it for this week. Until next time, stay salty, stay sweaty, and keep those training vibes alive!

It's Time To Sign

We have had a great partnership with Elwood Life Saving Club for many many years and we truly believe in supporting the amazing work they do. That's why we're encouraging all our members to get behind the club and sign up as a member for the 2023/24 season. Not only will this support our community, and get you access to hot showers on training days, but it will also provide you with the opportunity to be eligible for a foreshore parking pass (will save you loads in parking fees...or fines when you get done for forgetting!).

Associate Membership fees (non-patrolling) for the 2023/24 season are $100. ELSC are also offering a number of training opportunities for their members. So, make sure you get on board and support the local community.

You will need to ensure that you have a current Working with Children Check, which has Elwood LSC and Life Saving Victoria listed as organisations. They will not be able to process your renewals without this.

Once you have your ELSC membership sorted, you can then apply to the City of Port Phillip for a Foreshore Club parking permit. Both are simple processes – juts follow the links below (in order) and get yourself sorted for the season ahead!
