Wet Morning Runs

~ 15th July 2024 ~

Welcome to Recovery Week! After two build weeks, it’s natural to feel a bit tired from all the hard work. This week is all about focusing on your recovery protocols—whether that’s stretching, foam rolling, getting extra sleep, or anything else that helps you rest and recharge. Make the most of this time to get yourself rested and ready to go for the next cycle.

Next, I want to highlight a little message from Head Coach Ollie about the importance of consistency and staying on track with the program. It’s a quick 3-minute read packed with valuable insights.  Take a few minutes to read it and really absorb his message, coming from someone with 20+ years of industry experience and having coached thousands of athletes.

As we know, last weekend, Juliet Cooper raced Challenge Roth.  During the week she shared a detailed race report in the Symposium. For those who missed it, we’re including it again here. It’s wonderful to get a glimpse into Juliet’s experience, and her dedication is a testament to the power of consistent training and perseverance.

Starting next cycle, we will have slightly earlier start times on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Be sure to check the online timetable if you’re unsure about the new schedule.

We hope everyone has a fantastic recovery week ahead. The coaches are here to support you, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

Have a great week and keep moving forward!

Don’t Get Left Behind

Hey Team, Ollie here with a little dose of reality for some of you. We’ve got races coming up, and I’ve noticed a few of you have been treating your training schedules like a suggestion rather than a commitment. Let’s have a heart-to-heart, shall we?

Race Report from Jules

Juliet has found some time to share her thoughts and feelings about her time at Challenge Roth.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here it is.  Is it a long one, but such an important event deserves it!  If you've ever been thinking of heading to Challenge Roth, this is a must read.

Let's Get Going Earlier

As the sessions are continuing to build, we need a little more time to get you through the sets before you all head off to work.

So, starting next cycle (Build Week #1 22nd July), we will begin the Tuesday morning runs at Albert Park at 5:45am and the Thursday morning Hot Laps at Albert Park Lake at 5:45am.

This will give you just a bit more time to so there's no need to rush off and miss out on any volume.
