The Countdown is on...
Just under two weeks until the last race of the 2XU series!
If you haven't done it yet, best to enter now.   We've seen races sell out and you won't want to miss the last hoorah.  Passwords change for each race, so make sure to send the request asap and get yourself sorted.

And let's all celebrate the final race with some social drinks afterwards.  In following tradition, our ambassadors are organizing our get-together.  Read details below from Benny and make sure you come along.  Even if only for a short time, it'll be great to see you there!

Did you enjoy our daily readings over the past week? What a week it was getting to know some incredible women in our squad.  Have you been feeling particularly inspired? Even if you see these ladies on a daily basis, they never cease to amaze. If you missed these posts, we've included each one below for you to read over.

We can't leave out our male allies after shining a light on some inspiring women in the squad. Although it is great to see women supporting one another, change will not happen unless everyone is on board. Thank you in particular to all of our guys who are out there encouraging and supporting women in triathlon. When you encourage someone to take the next step, push them to be better, mentor them, or simply create an equal environment, you make a difference. Thank you for making such a welcoming environment for everyone.

INSPIRING STORIES
Did you know that Wednesday 8 March was International Women's Day?  We are very fortunate as a squad to have so many strong, powerful, and inspiring females, as well as one of the highest percentages of females in a squad. We decided that one day to celebrate women wasn't enough, so we celebrated and highlighted a few women in the squad all week!  Here are their stories...
Tanya - Race 5 Elwood
Tanya
Our first inspiring woman is Tanya Jenkinson – You may have seen her around in her rainbow tape and always having a laugh at training. Here is her story and how Tri-Alliance and her tri friends have helped her through her life journey.
tam
Tam
This one got a few nominations for inspiring females in the squad! Did Tam come to mind for you, too? Tam is usually present at every training session, kicking butt in the pool or on the bike. You may have seen her recently on the podium? So, how well do you know her? We believe she will surprise you!
michelle-finish-line-1
Michelle
"Behind every successful man stands a strong woman," as the saying goes. Michelle works tirelessly to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and we are extremely fortunate to have someone like Michelle at this club. She is a strong, dedicated, and inspiring woman to whom many people look up. But how familiar are you with Michelle? She's been to Kona so she must have been good at all three disciplines from the start, right? Wrong!
jo-wood-rich4
Jo
Jo, our Brand Ambassador, is the next inspiring woman! Jo began by standing on the sidelines and cheering on our favourite Bumble-Bee. But now, as she faces new challenges and continues her triathlon journey, all eyes are on this remarkable woman. We're excited to see what the future holds for you, and we're glad you've finally decided to take the leap to start competing yourself. It is never too late to begin participating in this wonderful sport. We can all agree, which is one of many great things that contribute to the greatness of this sport.
aurelie-2
Aurélie
This inspiring female came from France and is now addicted to triathlon. Can you figure out who it is? Yep, you guessed it... Aurélie! Aurélie is regularly representing women in long course, but that does not stop her (which is empowering as well as inspiring). Aurélie is very determined and achieves every goal she sets for herself. She has accomplished so much in such a short time. Nothing, not even a big night out, can keep Aurélie from showing up for a session and achieving what she wants! Let's get to know this global superstar...
A PARTY IS COMING

Cheers to us
Save the Date

As we prepare for Race 6 of the 2XU Triathlon Series in St Kilda. It's time to go all out with one last big push to break your personal best or complete your first Fun, Sprint, AquaBike, or Olympic!  After any race, recovery and hydration are essential, and a hard-earned thirst usually requires a big cold beer, and the best way to do so is together. Join us after the race on Sunday, March 26th at 4pm at Republica for a celebratory drink as we reflect on all the highs and lows of another incredible 2XU Triathlon series! We've reserved our own little space in the Courtyard terrace and hope to see everyone there.
