Hi All,

Thank you for registering for our Tips and Tricks Clinic for Race #3 of the 2XU Triathlon Series. It’s the first race of the new year, and we’re so excited to kick off 2025 with you all! Whether this is your first triathlon or your third in the series, we’re here to help you tackle the course with confidence.

This weekend is shaping up to be a warm one, so hydration will be key as you prepare. Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered with plenty of tips to help you stay cool, calm, and ready to race!
WHERE IS THE CLINIC?

We’ll meet at the Tri-Alliance tent in the event village at Catani Garden, St Kilda, at 12:30pm on Saturday 11th January.

You’ll get familiar with the venue, the course, the transition area, and event logistics. Most importantly, we’ll share a bagful of tips (and tricks) to help you feel race-ready!
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE CLINC?
  • You only need to bring yourself and a bottle of fluids to stay hydrated during the clinic.
  • No equipment or physical activity is required.
  • What we love most? Lots of questions and interaction with the crowd!
WHAT WILL THE CLINIC COVER?

We’ll give you a comprehensive rundown of everything you need to know to make your race day as smooth and streamlined as possible. Topics include:

  • Night-before preparation: What to eat for dinner, when to wake up, and how to organise your gear.
  • Race-day logistics: When to arrive, where to park, and tips for navigating the venue.

We’ll also dive into St Kilda-specific topics, such as:

  • Managing warm weather conditions and staying hydrated throughout the weekend.
  • Navigating the large transition area with clarity and confidence.
  • Important triathlon rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience

Finally, we’ll wrap up with a course walk-through so you can see exactly where to go and have everything fresh in your mind for race morning.

BE PREPARED FOR THE WEATHER

It’s going to be hot! Dress appropriately, bring sunscreen, and keep those fluids coming. A hat and sunglasses might also come in handy as we walk through the venue.

🚗 PARKING REMINDER: Parking is limited in the area, so plan extra time to park and walk to the event village.
